Chef Nicholas Tomasetto

Chef Nicholas Tomasetto has had a storied culinary career in South Jersey since he began cooking at the age of 17 in the kitchen of his stepfather Nino Gervasi's namesake restaurant.

He then went on to open Arugula Italian Restaurant in Washington Township, which became one of South Jersey's top dinner destinations for 10 years. Chef Nick then opened La Polpetta, a small 30-seat BYOB in Deptford with a growing reputation, until the pandemic hit. After taking a short break, Chef Nick decided to do the a la carte restaurant business one more time, reopening in Nino Gervasi's old space to create Osteria 545, coming full circle in his culinary journey.

Now, moving on to bigger and better things, Chef Nick is excited to bring you Cuzzins' Catering, ready to take on new and exciting challenges.
